A system for tendering

Kim Würfel, purchasing manager at Vestforbrænding, was on the lookout for a system for their tender management. They needed a system that could generate an overview of the portfolio of tenders. They also needed a system for planning and managing the various tender cases.

After just one meeting with EazyProject, it was clear to Kim Würfel that they could supply a tender management system that covered the purchasing department’s needs.

Effects of the tender management after just a few months
Today we have got the necessary overview and the relevant documentation, in that we can see who is sitting with what tender, what phases have been started and completed and which customers and department level they refer to.

Better contracts and offer prices

It is also possible to view historic data and compare the data before and after a specific tender has been completed. Among other things this has meant that we have now achieved better contracts and tender prices and subsequently generated a better bottom line. These improvements are important in that they help to evaluate and justify the existence of the purchasing department.

The many advantages of the tender management system

  • It creates an overview of the tender portfolio
  • It provides the relevant documentation
  • Better contracts and tender prices, which result in a better bottom line
  • Easy to plan and manage activities – and everyone can follow the process
  • Easy to extract the necessary reports showing expenditure in connection with a tender (e.g. the use of resources in the form of staff hours, transport etc.)
  • The customers can log in to the system and see which phase the tender has reached.
